Established in 2007, the newest scholarship program designed to meet the needs of El Camino College’s diverse student population is The Foundation Scholarship Program.

Committed to establishing 80 scholarships and distributing a minimum of $100,000 per year for 10 years, these scholarships will not only assist with, but in many cases, fully cover tuition, fees and textbooks. This is what sets The Foundation Scholarship Program for El Camino College students apart from any other. 

We have established an array of scholarships; some are discipline specific; reward academic excellence; extended to students from local high schools; and are aimed at earnest students with financial need who do not meet federal or state assistance requirements. All applicants must be on the path for a two-year degree, transferring to a four-year institution or participating in a vocational or certificate program.

Unquestionably, the Foundation’s generous supporters make The Foundation Scholarship Program possible. Your support of this program will enable a growing number of deserving students to achieve their educational goals, whether that means completing a certificate, a two-year degree or continuing their education at a four-year university.
