Endowed Scholarships
An endowment is a gift of financial resources that provides a stable base for funding. Endowments are invested for long-term growth; these funds produce an annual income stream to fund the scholarship award. With endowed funds, the principal is kept in tact in perpetuity. The income generated by the principal or some portion of that income may be spent each year.
